Rooted in environmental justice, horticulture science and community engagement, ACIRE’s practice utilizes layered textures, organic materials, and participatory installation to examine how personal and collective histories are shaped by the natural world.
Drawing from coastal environments impacted by environmental degradation, the Artist responds to ocean conservation, biodiversity loss, and intergenerational survival. ACIRE’s projects incorporate found objects, living plant materials, textiles, and community sourced narratives, composing gestures of resilience and exploration.
By engaging with ACIRE through collection or exhibition making, a portion of profits are donated to Ocean Conservancy to restore our ocean’s ecosystems and natural heritage.
